I would like to start off with a simple Law of Biology – we are a species that’s designed to be social. It is in our human nature to engage with others and of course, it gives us a feeling that we are not alone.
It is also natural that we look for companionship / friendship in groups that share the same interests, same views on different topics and (considering the overall theme of this site) share some matching things for entertainment and amusement.
In Part one, I have already touched the matter a bit on how partygoers and the techno-community share a friendly atmosphere.
When it comes to talking to complete strangers at a party or when you dance and your flour-neighbors hyping you up to go even harder –that’s when that special vibe rules. Those are some of the special moments for us “ravers” and that’s when the feeling of belonging to something known only to us, rules. And exactly out of those moments we collect and acquire some important connections to one another, and some maybe even last up to a lifetime.

So why is it so important to have parties/ events / gatherings?
How I see it
– It is because Techno lives through its parties and through its crowds. -
Let's take one example from history. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, it was the new sound that brought the two sides back together. It was supposed to be in some dark basement or warehouse and played loud for the dancers to unite themselves with the music and each other.
